FAQ

Frequently asked questions on how to get here

What's the fastest way to arrive from Naples?+

The Circumvesuviana from Naples Porta Nolana or Garibaldi, direction Sorrento: about 36 minutes, get off at Pompei Scavi-Villa dei Misteri. Then 5 minutes on foot. By car via A3 it's around thirty minutes, traffic permitting.

Is there parking?+

Yes, private and closed, inside the property. Free until the 10:00 check-out. If you need longer, just ask: we usually keep it until 18:00.

How far are you from the ruins?+

Less than 200 metres from the Porta Marina entrance. A two-minute walk.

How do I get to Vesuvius?+

20 minutes by car. Otherwise there's a shuttle that leaves from the ruins car park and climbs to the crater parking (then another 20 minutes on foot). If you prefer, we can arrange a private transfer.

Is the Amalfi Coast easy to reach?+

Roughly one hour to Positano and Amalfi. For that stretch we recommend the SITA Sud bus from Sorrento station, or a private driver: curves and parking make self-driving less practical.

Is a day trip to Capri doable?+

Yes. 40 minutes to Sorrento, then hydrofoil (20-25 minutes). Leaving early you'll be back by evening without trouble.

Can you help plan the itinerary?+

Sure. Message us a few days before arrival, or let's talk at check-in. We just need to know how many days you have and what you're most interested in.
